Meet Kat
Hi, I’m Kat — Director, and Lead Organiser at Spaces by Kat.
With over 15 years’ experience in graphic design, I’ve built my career around creativity, problem-solving and an eye for detail. That background now shapes the way I approach homes — considering not only how a space functions, but how it flows, feels and looks.
Spaces by Kat grew from a lifelong love of organisation and creating order. What began with transforming spaces for myself, friends and family developed into a business dedicated to helping people create homes that feel calmer, more functional and beautifully considered.
Whether I’m organising a busy pantry, refreshing a room, helping someone settle into a new home or sourcing the right finishing pieces, my goal is always the same: to create a space that works beautifully for the people who live there.
The Spaces by Kat Approach
Beautiful spaces should work beautifully, too.
Every home and every client is different, so I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.
I start by understanding how you use your space, what isn’t working and what you’d like your home to feel like. Wherever possible, I work with what you already own, introducing new storage solutions, furniture or finishing pieces only where they genuinely add value.
The result is a home that feels considered rather than overdone — organised, functional and beautifully yours.
A Creative Eye, A Practical Approach
My design background brings another layer to the way I see a space.
After more than 14 years working in graphic design and creative direction, I naturally look at proportion, colour, balance, composition and the relationship between individual elements.
I bring that same thinking into your home, alongside the practical side of organisation.
It means I’m not only considering where something should go, but how the overall space comes together — from storage and layout through to styling and finishing touches.
The goal is always to find that balance between function and beauty, creating spaces that feel cohesive, intentional and easy to live in.
