About Us
Our Approach
We’re not about filling your home with endless new products. Instead, we focus on what you already have, introducing only a few smart, space-saving pieces that truly make a difference.
Our recommendations are practical and intentional — whether that’s replacing three appliances with one that does the job, or suggesting what can be let go to free up space.
For us, it’s about creating rooms that are both functional and beautiful. When styling, we love to incorporate the things you already own and cherish, enhancing them with a few key additions that elevate the space.
We always work within your budget, because we believe good design should feel accessible, not expensive.
Spaces by Kat
Based in Auckland, Spaces by Kat is a professional organising service created to help transform homes, businesses, and everyday spaces into calm, functional, and beautifully organised environments. We’re here because we believe everyone deserves the feeling of coming home to a space that feels light, clear, and easy to live in.
We work across wardrobes, kitchens, garages, offices, and more. What sets us apart is our empathy, we take the time to understand how you live, what matters most to you, and the systems that will make your day-to-day life simpler. By thinking on our feet and tailoring solutions to your lifestyle, we design spaces that are both practical and uplifting. Whether it’s a wardrobe that makes mornings easier, a kitchen that flows better for your family, or a garage that finally feels under control, we create systems that are easy to maintain and designed to last.
Behind Spaces by Kat
Hi, I’m Kat — Director, and Lead Organiser at Spaces by Kat.
With over 14 years’ experience as a graphic designer, creativity, problem solving, and attention to detail have always been at the heart of what I do. Combining this with my genuine love of organisation is what led me to create Spaces by Kat — a business dedicated to turning cluttered, overwhelming spaces into calm, functional ones.
My passion for organising started at a young age. I’ve always believed that a well-considered space creates more value than holding on to things we never use. What began as a personal hobby soon grew into helping friends and family transform their homes — and seeing the happiness and relief it gave them inspired me to turn this into my full-time work.
Outside of organising, I value balance and joy. I keep my own home calm and organised so I can spend more time enjoying life’s pleasures — whether that’s tending to my garden, hitting the slopes in winter, or travelling with my family.
